Waz E. James
The day I got a double bass, Waz called me to play at his Sunday residency at Claypots St. Kilda, my uncle Craig McDowell was playing piano in the band. We played after Paul Williamson and Gil Askey, before Margie Lou and Alan Browne. Over 18th months of weekIy gigs I learnt how to actually play this instrument. We have played pretty much every pub gig in Melbourne and the current lineup features Andrew Pendlebury.
